The evening’s special guest speaker, Harry Gantz, co-producer and director of the film ‘American Winter,’ presenting Rahnuma Habib with the Campaign Coordinator Award.

MutualOne Bank was honored with three awards by the United Way of Tri-County at the organization’s Annual Recognition Event Breakfast. Each year a select number of volunteers, partners and supporters of the United Way’s programs are acknowledged for their outstanding commitment to the community at the event. The theme of this year’s event, held on Thursday, April 10 at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel, was IN FOCUS: Gaining a new perspective on our community through the lens of the United Way.

The Bank received the United Way of Tri-County Cornerstone Award, for “exemplifying the spirit of the United Way, by providing a foundation of giving and serving as a role model for others and a treatment of what can be achieved.” In addition, the Bank’s “extraordinary contributions to the community,” were recognized through the Financial Division Award. And accepting both of the awards on behalf of the Bank was Bob Lamprey, chairman of the board of MutualOne Bank and MutualOne Charitable Foundation chair.

Rahnuma Habib, assistant vice president, human resources, took home her own hardware. She was presented with the Campaign Coordinator Award “for demonstrating outstanding performance in aiding participation, community involvement, and partnerships.”
