Please join us in welcoming Bill Eastty, Vice President of Residential Lending, to the MutualOne Bank family! Bill has nearly three decades of lending experience, most recently at Crescent Credit Union in Brockton, where he headed up the residential and commercial lending departments for nearly a decade. Previously, he had served for 12 years as vice president of residential lending at Mayflower Cooperative Bank in Middleboro.
A New Jersey native, Bill graduated from Bryant College (now University) in Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in business administration — with a concentration in restaurant management. But it only took a few years to realize that restaurant life wasn’t the life for him, he says.
He opted instead for financial services, where his first position was negotiating secondary market loan sale transactions with private investors, first with a mortgage insurance company in New Jersey and then moving on to a Virginia bank. Bill met, and later married, his wife, Diana, in Virginia and the couple happily returned to New England. They settled in Wrentham, where they still live today, with daughters Heather and Kayla.
Bill’s outside interests include golf, skiing, and running. And, yes — he did run the Boston Marathon “once upon a time,” finishing in 2:48. This year, though, he’ll be enjoying a sidelines view of the Marathon from the vicinity of one of MutualOne’s Framingham or Natick locations!
Welcome to MutualOne and MetroWest, Bill!
