On April 6th, we attended United Way of Tri-County’s 85th Annual Recognition Breakfast, where we were honored with their 2017 Pearl Street Moves Award. This award is given to supporters of the MetroWest/495 community, who inspire others and take action to help their neighbors in need.

As a sponsor of Family Promise of Metrowest’s 8th Annual Walk to End Homelessness, we set-up a booth where walkers could grab a drink of water and other fun MutualOne gear. Thank you to everyone who braved the cold to support a great cause.

We were gold sponsors of Ashland Education Foundation Inc.’s 14th Annual Teacher Grant Program Awards Gala. Our employees who attended had a wonderful time mingling with our friends and neighbors while enjoying delicious food.

Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank and a MutualOne Charitable Foundation trustee, announced today that the Foundation has awarded $10,000 to Advocates in support of Behavioral Health Partners of MetroWest (BHPMW), a new partnership formed by Advocates, South Middlesex Opportunity Council, and Wayside Youth and Family Support Network.
According to Diane E. Gould, president and CEO of Advocates, BHPMW will serve as a single point of entry into the full continuum of behavioral health and social services operated by the three Framingham-based nonprofit agencies.
“This new program, with its single point of entry, will make it easier for individuals and families in the MetroWest area to access the behavioral health and social services offered by the three agencies, and to coordinate their specific care needs,” said Haranas. “We are pleased to be able to help initiate this new program, and to support the goal of improved health outcomes for those in need of the services provided by these three agencies.”
