Dr. Kristin Carvalho, President and Chief Executive Officer of MutualOne Bank, has announced the appointment of Pamela Yang, CPA, CFA, to the Bank’s Board of Directors.
A long-time resident of Metrowest, Yang is the Chief Financial Officer at Social Finance with 30 years of experience in investment management, portfolio management, and the commercial real estate industry. She previously held senior roles at Bulfinch Companies, Inc. and State Street Investment Management and, in 2022, received the GlobeSt Women of Influence award.
“With her local knowledge, as well as in-depth experience and oversight of audit, compliance, investment management, and due diligence, Pamela will be a valuable addition to the Board,” said Carvalho.
Recently named Chair of the CFA Institute Board of Governors, Yang has been a member of the Board since 2023, serving as Chair of the audit and finance committee. Additionally, she is an Independent Trustee of iM Global Partners Fund Trust serving on the audit and governance committees as well as a former member of the Boston Ballet’s Board of Trustees.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Yang holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in accounting from Northeastern University, and a Master of Arts in French literature from the University of Cincinnati.
