Dr. Kristin Carvalho, President & CEO of MutualOne Bank, announced the appointment of Brian Lagarto to the Bank’s Board of Directors.
Throughout his career, Lagarto has served as Executive Vice President & CFO/COO of several major companies. Currently, he is an angel investor working with entrepreneurs and their start-up companies to provide mentorship and investment funding.
Lagarto has also used his experience serving on the boards of for-profit and non-profit companies as a director, as well as on committees including Audit (Chair), Executive and Long-Term Strategy.
“As a board-level strategic advisor, Brian will be an invaluable addition,” said Carvalho. “His wealth of knowledge across the corporate, public, and non-profit spheres will help guide MutualOne Bank as we strive to live our mission of helping the community.”
Lagarto holds a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in accounting from Bryant University.
